China's Little Frankenstein--North Korea


North Korea is China's little Frankenstein and we should let them deal with the ballistic activity of their neighbor to the south. China can use the technology the USA gave them when the Clinton Administration eased restrictions on technology release to foreign countries and shoot down any North Korean satellites launches.

China entered the Korean conflict to prevent American soldiers from taking over the peninsula. South Korea modeled itself after America and is peaceful and prosperous. North Korea allied and modeled itself with China and is poor and menacing. Once China adopted some facets of the America philosophy of market economy, it has prospered and does not want the world situation disturbed by a rogue nation selling dirty bombs that can be used anywhere, anytime. America needs to shut up and let China spank its little Frankenstein (N. Korea) back into submission. This is not an America problem, it is a Chinese created situation and the solution rests with this emerging economic power. Shame on China for not spanking N. Korea sooner.

Ban Stock Options for Executives--It Equals Treason

Problem:
Stock options for corporate executives should be banned by a change in the US laws. Stock options encourage executives to boost stock value at all costs. Ultimately, this leads to the company being moved overseas because historically, this causes a short term jump in stock values. The companies go overseas for the cheap labor, to escape environment regulation, US taxes and laws. Many times they take technology with them to these countries that should not be “given” away for reasons of national security. The executives making the decisions to ship manufacturing overseas do not move to these countries. They reap the benefits of living in the USA while long term contributing to the demise of the Social Security system by avoiding payroll taxes and also by moving their headquarters off shore, they avoid taxes on their profits as well. Executives owe their allegiance to stock holders but also to community and country. Right now, too many executives justify lining their own pockets by saying it is good for their stockholders. One remedy after banning stock options is profit sharing offered to all employees as a percentage of base pay.
When Lee Iacocca talked the workers at Chrysler to take pay cuts because the company was going under, he stated he would work for $1.00 that year. It turned out; he had stock options and really earned over 2 million dollars. Every example of stock options boils down to looting. The tough part about banning stock options is that politicians and legislators get their campaigns bankrolled by corporations.

Solution:

Ban stock options as a form of compensation for executives.

Ban golden parachutes. Why should an executive get millions when they are fired or huge severance packages?

Require executives to live in the countries they send the jobs to for at least 5 years. This way they have to breathe the air and drink the water they pollute without the EPA and they have to live with bodyguards and civil unrest that comes with exploited peoples.

HOW DOES ONE KNOW IF THEY ARE TRULY GETTING A FULL GALLON IF RESERVATION STATIONS ARE NOT INSPECTED?

HOW DOES ONE KNOW THAT PREMIUM IS PREMIUM IF THE STATIONS ARE NOT INSPECTED?

HOW DOES ONE KNOW IF A TANK STARTS TO LEAK INTO THE SOIL THAT IT WILL BE CLEANED UP WITH NO DEC?

PARTERSHIP BETWEEN STATES AND PROVIDERS TO SIMPLY CUT OFF CABLE AND DISH TO HOUSEHOLDS WITH A CHILD THAT IS FAILING. TRUST ME, THE PEER PRESSURE FROM SIBLINGS AND PARENTS TO GET THAT CHILD PASSING WOULD CREATE AN EDUCATIONAL UTOPIA.
